Artverse Gallery - Paris, France. Caravana : Interlace

What a week! Paris, thank you so much for showing up!

Beyond hyped on this creative crew we have evolving.

It was such a privilege to showcase 10 new works in such an amazing setting. Paintings, sculpture, digital abstractions and a photography collaboration with my friend Jamie “Peanug” Nixon. (More on that below)

INTERLACE:PARIS took place at ArtVerse Gallery in Paris for three days. Each day had a new rotating exhibit.

Such an amazing turnout across all three days.

Conversations flowing in and out of the gallery the whole time.

The final moments before the evening started.

The show fully set up. My work on the right, Peanug’s on the left, and our collaboration in the tile room. We had dual screens running both of our point-of-view footage of us creating our dual release - Sonder / Pareidolia (available here).

It’s a commentary on how everyone has a different perspective of the world. Walking the same street, but seeing completely different things.

Sonder — the awareness that everyone around you is living a life just as complex as your own.

Pareidolia — the tendency to see meaning, patterns, or images where they don’t actually exist.

People taking in my display. I had a great time talking to people about the work and hearing their interpretations and telling them mine.

Here’s me and Peanug in front of the collab display. We wanted a bedroom kind of feel. We printed out about 100 of our photos on 4x6 and plastered them up all over the wall.

It was right by the bar so people were lined up to get drinks and really submerged into our work.

Wide shot of my display.

I left this one in color for the blog.

Here’s a shot of Day 1 - ADHD and Lisanne Haack’s collaboration display.

Day 3 a shot of Arsey and Flavios display.

A shot of the crowd from the inside.

Closing night. Such a fun time.. The world needs creation and community more than ever. Let’s build it together.

What an amazing night put together by Caravana Presents, Mallow Art, Exchange Art, and Artverse Gallery.
