Inaugural Show at Cycol Gallery NYC 2025
The first show at the brand new digital and physical gallery in LES New York City -
Cycol Gallery
WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS
A group show curated by Steve Sweatpants and produced by J.T. Liss
View from the first floor as the show started to kick off. A really cool eclectic show with a focus on photography.
Iโll leave it to the curator Steve Sweatpants to explain the vision of the show.
My piece on display in the downstairs gallery. โConcrete Garden 001โ weaving into the Accidental / Intentional series.
I ended up keeping the description as minimal as I possibly could. Attempting to leave a bit of mystery. Every piece had our own โWhat Had Happened Wasโ Story
Mine was simply -
What had happened wasโฆ. I started to plant my Concrete Garden
But hereโs the long story.
What had happened was I started noticing the whispers in the ruins, the broken lines and accidental marks that felt strangely intentional, like messages from a world outside this one. I began seeing hidden beauty in what was left behind, first capturing it, then creating it. Soon I was placing fragments of the city where they didnโt belong, planting my concrete garden.

More people taking in the piece. Probably saying thatโs it? Thatโs all he wrote? He just stuck pipes in a cone and called it art?
When you water it down, yes that is simply it.
But maybe youโll never walk down the street again without thinking of a flower vase now?
Itโs very similar to how Hoop World starting evolving for me. I couldnโt walk down the street without thinking โWhat if a basketball hoop was there?โ
Now I walk down the street and try and turn the wreckage of our society into something just a little more beautiful.
Iโll revisit the thesis here for Accidental / Intentional
Accidental / Intentional
The world is crumbling, yet shapes still stop me cold.
There is beauty.
Not the kind that's planned, but the kind that's left behind.
Accidental, almost perfectly placed.
Proof something's getting through the cracks.

Honored to be in the first show and excited to see what Cycol Gallery has up itโs sleeve going forward.
A guest taking in some of the work.
Huge digital art displays by Blackdove. The image quality is amazing and digital work really pops on these things.
The view from outside as the show was getting closer to wrapping up. Everyone had a great time it seemed and was a great place to connect and share creations.
The show is up until January 1st so if you are in NYC pop in and view the work!
